PreK-5th Grade Children's Ministry
Thank you for another great year of Children's Ministry.
We look forward to seeing you in September for the kick-off of our 2025-2026 Children's Ministry Year!
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
The celebration of the Sunday Mass gathers our entire parish family to be nourished by God’s word and Eucharist. While the Sunday Liturgy is the most important formational moment in the life of a Catholic, it is not to be the only place of formation.
Children's Ministry helps our young Church, in PK through 5th grade, to grow in the love and knowledge of Jesus Christ. It is in this ministry that they have a place of their own where they are accompanied along their faith journey by adult and teen disciples.
At Children's Ministry, the children are formed as disciples of Jesus and grow in awareness of their unique interests, gifts, and abilities. In age-appropriate ways, we help our young people engage in as many aspects of the Church as possible, to nurture and develop their unique gifts, thereby raising up the next generation of leaders in the Church.
Children's Ministry is one of the many ways the parish assists parents to uphold the promise they made at their child's baptism to raise the child in the faith. This is done through family events such as the Parish Picnic, Feast of Nations, Stations of the Cross, and family Sacramental Preparation. In addition, children PK-5th grade meet approximately 2x per month, September through April, on Sundays from 9:00 -10:15 a.m. in our parish halls.
